Bowman and Brooke Expands National Product Liability Defense Team

Bowman and Brooke LLP, a nationally recognized trial firm known for product liability defense, welcomes three new partners to their practice - Brian Equi, Chris Fowlkes and Tori Levine, who are joining the Orlando, Minneapolis and Dallas offices respectively.

The firm noted Brian, Chris and Tori will enhance several of the firm’s industry groups such as consumer products, automotive and medical device with their decades of experience and proven track records in the area of product and other liability defense. 

  • Tori Levine, based in the Bowman and Brooke Dallas office, will bring the firm entry into product liability related to consumer vaping litigation, an emerging issue nationwide.  She also has significant experience in defense of product liability claims involving medical devices and asbestos litigation. Levine has nearly 30 years of product liability experience and holds a degree from Baylor University School of Law. Levine brings a team of three attorneys and several staff.

  • Chris Fowlkes  is based in Minneapolis and is returning to Bowman and Brooke to rededicate his practice to product liability litigation. Fowlkes focuses his trial practice on product liability defense and multiparty complex commercial litigation. He has more than 22 years of experience and holds a degree from the University of Minnesota Law school. 

    Fowlkes, who was a 2019 recipient of the Minnesota Lawyer Diversity & Inclusion Award, will also be involved in the firm’s diversity and inclusion efforts, specifically recruiting.

  • Brian Equi, based in Orlando, has dedicated his practice to defense of general liability, property damage and other high exposure liability claims for more than 20 years. He received his law degree from Miami School of Law in 1998.  Brian brings with him a senior counsel attorney.
