Bowman and Brooke is once again ranked as one of the Top 25 law firms on
The American Lawyer's 2017 Diversity Scorecard.
The annual ranking surveys large U.S. law firms and ranks each firm according to its percentage of minority attorneys and partners.
On the 2017 scorecard, Bowman and Brooke ranks 25 out of 219 law firms. Overall, 19.8% of our attorneys are minorities and 14.7% of our partners are minorities. This national recognition is one of many acknowledgements that reflect our firm's ongoing commitment to recruiting and developing diverse talent.
The Diversity Scorecard records the average number of full-time-equivalent minority attorneys—Asian-American, African-American, Latino or Hispanic, Native American and self-described multiracial attorneys—at Am Law 200 and National Law Journal 250 law firms in the calendar year 2016. Lawyer counts are average full-time-equivalent figures. Partner statistics include both equity and non-equity partners. Non-partner figures include associates as well as special counsel, of counsel and other staff attorneys.
