DRI’s June issue of For the Defense featured an article on artificial intelligence authored by Minneapolis Senior Counsel Ann Motl and Columbia Partner Patrick Cleary. Through their research, they have found that courts across the country are cracking down on AI usage and have found that the attorneys who use AI are not the only ones being held accountable. Attorneys and law firms alike are being sanctioned by judges for inappropriate AI use.
