In practicing our commitment to diversity in the legal profession, Bowman and Brooke proudly serves as a sponsor for The Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association's 12th Annual Gala on Thursday, March 2, 2017. Minneapolis Associate Roxy Gonzalez served on the planning committee for this special event.
This year’s keynote speaker is Sonia Nazario, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and author of Enrique’s Journey. The gala will also feature the presentation of the Manuel Guerrero Courage in Leadership Award to The Honorable Ann D. Montgomery, Senior Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
The MHBA was founded in 1991 to organize Hispanic attorneys, judges, law students, and other concerned members of the Hispanic community into a force for professional and community benefit. Its mission is to unify and organize all members of the Hispanic legal community, to promote legal professionals, and to serve as an advocate for the Hispanic community in Minnesota.
