Lori Lofano has over 20 years’ experience in national discovery coordination and eDiscovery document collection and management for a wide range of matters, including complex product liability cases, asbestos litigation, warranty, commercial cases and class actions. She works with clients to implement uniform discovery and eDiscovery processes, develop best practices regarding the collection and retention of electronically stored information, create litigation hold protocols and to develop strategies for addressing discovery-related issues seen both on a widespread basis across jurisdictions and in specific matters. She oversees the preparation of discovery responses and the production of documents, with the aim of minimizing client risk and potential sanctions, managing high volumes of discovery and providing uniform responses and document productions in cases around the country.

In addition to managing written discovery, Lori also prepares discovery motions and responses to motions to compel and motions for sanctions, assists trial counsel in the preparation of dispositive motions and strategizes with trial counsel and clients to resolve discovery disputes. Additionally, she works with trial counsel in her cases to prepare corporate witnesses for depositions both as a corporate representative and as a fact witness, including working with trial counsel, clients and witnesses to address specific issues that may be raised at deposition and familiarizing the witness with relevant documents.

Lori routinely speaks and writes on topics pertaining to discovery and eDiscovery. A passionate ally in support of diversity, equity and inclusion in the legal profession, she has also written or spoken numerous times on diversity-related matters and is a long-time member of the firm's Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
