Michael Hecht has over two decades of experience in product liability litigation, with a focus in the life sciences industry. He has handled cases at the state and federal levels, including national and international litigation. His practice also includes complex commercial and construction disputes, premises liability, negligence, business torts and advising clients on risk management, as well as domestic, criminal and civil rights matters.

Known for his strategic approach to complex litigation, Michael leads expert development and company case analysis for high-stakes matters. He works closely with external experts and in-house scientific teams to evaluate critical issues, build strong defenses and prepare cases for trial.

Michael has taken and defended numerous fact and expert depositions, represented clients in hearings and prepared witnesses for testimony. His work in pharmaceutical and medical device litigation has given him deep knowledge in areas such as pharmaceutical manufacturing, endocrinology, bone biology and metabolism, metabolic bone disease, oral surgery, dentistry and orthopedic biomechanics.

Outside of being an attorney, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports and volunteering at his church.
