Bowman and Brooke is proud to announce that Roshan Rajkumar, partner in the firm's Minneapolis office, has been selected as the firm's Diversity and Inclusion Committee Chair. This Committee, established nearly a decade ago, is charged with assuring that the firm is a leader in the area of diversity and inclusion. The Committee identifies and evaluates diversity and inclusion policies, programs and best practices, and collaborates with the firm's leaders and administrative departments to research, track, and analyze nationwide data to improve the recruitment, retention and promotion of diverse attorneys and staff. The firm, with 12 offices across the U.S., has won 11 national diversity related awards since 2012.

Roshan, one of two Sri Lankan-American attorneys at Bowman and Brooke, devotes significant time to addressing issues of diversity and inclusion in the practice of law. He serves on the Diversity Committee at his law school alma mater and he is a board member of Twin Cities Diversity in Practice, which works to attract, recruit, retain and advance attorneys of color in the Twin Cities. In 2017 Roshan was also a Fellow with the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, an organization of more than 265 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners—the leadership of the profession—who have dedicated themselves to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession.
