Bowman and Brooke is proud to have been awarded a 2018 Diversity Law Institute Law Firm Diversity Award. The award was presented to Dallas, Texas Partner Donald A. Blackwell at the Litigation Counsel of America’s 2018 Fall Conference & Celebration of Fellows.

A goal of Bowman and Brooke’s conscientious diversity and inclusion program is to bring a broader perspective and to provide greater affinity and identification with clients, witnesses, judges, jurors and everyone within our firm and in the communities where we do business.

Diversity Law Institute (DLI) Law Firm Diversity Awards are given annually to a select number of law firms that have advanced, promoted or supported diversity and inclusion in the profession of law and share a commitment to promote a more diverse, equal and inclusive legal profession.

The Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) is an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society established to reflect the new face of the American bar. Membership is limited to 3,500 fellows, representing less than half of 1 percent of American lawyers. Blackwell is a Fellow of the LCA.

DLI is an international association of lawyers and law firms committed to diversity in all aspects of the legal profession and justice systems of the United States and Canada. Its mission is to advance the interests of women and minorities in the legal profession and to aid in the administration of justice. Its more than 4,500 members are from every U.S. state and the provinces of Canada, and include representatives from Europe, Africa, Asia and Central America.
