BTI, an independent research group, studies how general counsel acquire, manage, and evaluate their law firms. The "most feared" firms were identified by corporate counsel and included in BTI's Litigation Outlook 2016. Research conducted by BTI depicts a large increase in bet-the-company work, prompting clients to seek out more fearsome firms.
