Bowman and Brooke Associate Drew Branigan Awarded Best Article Award
Detroit Associate Drew Branigan authored an article that received the Best Article Award by the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel. The Best Article Award is presented annually to recognize the top article published in each volume of the Michigan Defense Quarterly. Each year, three finalists from the four issues in the prior volume are selected for consideration, articles are then reviewed and voted on by three sitting Michigan judges to choose the final award recipient.
Drew’s article, “Authenticating the Machine: The Federal Rules of Evidence Tackle AI-Generated Evidence,” focuses on applying the Federal Rules of Evidence to AI-generated content. With the increased prevalence of AI-generated content, Drew explores its viability within the courtroom. Recognized for its insightfulness, his findings and analysis offer a preview into the compatibility of artificial intelligence and the law.
