Bowman and Brooke LLP, a nationally recognized trial law firm focused on defending high-stakes product liability and mass tort litigation, is proud to announce firm and individual attorney recognitions in Benchmark Litigation 2014.

Bowman and Brooke was listed in Tier 2 on the National Product Liability list, and the firm’s South Carolina office received a “Highly Recommended” rating among firms in that state. In addition, the publication recognized eight individual Bowman and Brooke attorneys as either local “litigation stars” or “future stars.”

The firm’s “litigation stars” include Vince Galvin, Paul Cereghini, Kim Schmid and Joel Smith. The firm’s “future stars” include Alana Bassin and Bard Borkon.

According to Benchmark Litigation, “litigation stars” are individuals who were recommended consistently as reputable and effective litigators by clients and peers. “Future stars” are those partners who were consistently referenced by peers and clients as litigators likely to be become “litigation stars” in coming editions of Benchmark Litigation.

This honor follows a series of firm-wide and individual recognitions for Bowman and Brooke’s product liability work, including a Nationwide Product Liability Band 2 recognition by Chambers USA, a Who’s Who Legal 2013 recognition, a Top Tier firm recognition by The Legal 500 for automotive litigation work, as well as a recommendation for pharmaceuticals and medical devices litigation work.

Bowman and Brooke has a long history of defending household-name manufacturers in high-stakes product liability cases. The firm’s clients include many of the nation’s largest manufacturers and corporations, including companies in the automotive, recreational vehicle, industrial, medical devices, healthcare and consumer products industries.

About Benchmark Litigation
Benchmark Litigation identifies the leading U.S. trial attorneys and firms at the local and national levels. Focused exclusively on the U.S. litigation market, the publication’s rankings and editorials are the result of extensive interviews with private practice lawyers and in-house counsel. Supplementary firm information is also submitted in the form of a questionnaire. The guide’s “local litigation stars” reflect lawyers who are recommended by peers and clients to have established consistent reputations as trial attorneys, while “future stars” are those litigators who are highlighted as likely to be become “local litigation stars” in coming editions. Benchmark’s independent research is conducted annually between February and June.
