Bowman and Brooke is thrilled to announce that Los Angeles Senior Counsel Stacy Young has been named a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow for 2023. Designed for lawyers with eight to fifteen years of experience, this landmark intensive year-long professional development program connects high-potential attorneys with leading general counsel, managing partners and their peers for mentoring and career guidance.

Selected by the general counsel and managing partners at LCLD Member corporations and law firms, the LCLD Fellows participate in training sessions and have opportunities to interact with key legal and business leaders of large U.S. corporations as well as managing partners from the country’s most prestigious law firms.

Additionally, Bowman and Brooke Phoenix Associate Dwayne Burns and Detroit Associate Jasmine Owens have been selected as 2023 LCLD Pathfinders. The Pathfinder program, conceived as a supplement to training initiatives already in place at LCLD Member corporations and law firms, provides participants with practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks, leadership skills and an understanding of career development strategies. In addition to full class programming, each participant is placed in a small group that is led by a Program Facilitator who serves as a mentor to help the Pathfinder connect what they learn in the program to the organization at which they work.

Bowman and Brooke has actively supported LCLD since 2011 and has had more than 20 attorneys involved as Fellows or Pathfinders. The firm is a recipient of LCLD’s Compass Award (2018 - 2020, 2022) and Top Performer award (2017 and 2018).

Congratulations to Stacy, Dwayne and Jasmine!
