During her time as a summer associate at Bowman and Brooke, Ila worked on multiple complex litigation matters. She demonstrated her strong legal writing skills by drafting a motion to dismiss in a breach of warranty action for a major air conditioning provider and contributed to a large class action involving a leading automotive manufacturer where she prepared memos on the dismissal of plaintiffs based on warranty claims.
Outside her legal career, Ila is an avid long-distance runner and hiker, maximizing her time outdoors either running by the ocean or hiking in the mountains (Mount San Jacinto is a personal favorite). She previously competed as an equestrian in the hunter and jumper field, traveling the country with her four horses.
