Damion Young is an attorney who defends companies of all sizes in complex, high-stakes litigation. He represents clients in high-exposure catastrophic injury and wrongful-death matters and handles litigation involving auto collisions, alleged product defects, asbestos and toxic substance exposure, e-commerce and commercial disputes. He also regularly represents technology companies in matters involving consumer smart products and applications.
Damion brings a vast array of talents to trial teams, including a detail-oriented mind, a facility for understanding technology, a level-headed demeanor and experience working with expert witnesses. He has prepared dozens of cases for trial and through these experiences, he has drafted and argued all manner of complex motions, including summary judgment motions, motions to dismiss, motions to compel arbitration and more.
Before becoming a lawyer, Damion served in the United States Army as an explosive ordnance disposal specialist. After active duty he attended law school on the GI Bill and contemplated a career in the Secret Service or as a U.S. Marshal. However, he discovered he is drawn to litigation and has been defusing tricky situations in the business world ever since.
Inspired by his grandfather, who taught him to care about others, Damion serves on the board for the Extraordinary Lives Foundation and advocates for childhood mental health resources in his community. He powers down by spending time with his wife and two young children.
