Cameron Woods is a trial attorney who defends manufacturers of medical devices, pharmaceuticals and other life sciences products in individual and mass tort litigation. His practice includes defending clients in product liability, environmental and toxic tort claims. Cameron brings a strong background in high-stakes trial defense work. Drawing on his prior background as a writer and filmmaker, Cameron is a skilled storyteller who takes pride in crafting persuasive narratives. He understands that all aspects of litigation ultimately shape his client’s defense and applies his strong writing background in drafting and arguing dispositive motions. His experience includes leading trial teams in all aspects of trial preparation including preparing motions in limine, opening and closing statements and witness examinations.
Additionally, Cameron has taken and defended depositions from plaintiffs, 30(b)(6) representatives and expert witnesses. Cameron is known for his thorough understanding of his cases’ scientific foundation through extensive work with experts and the scientific literature. He also has extensive experience analyzing and evaluating medical records and damages and deposing physicians and other medical professionals. He brings this all together to develop effective narratives for his clients and advise them on issues such as preemption, FDA regulation compliance, product recall management, clinical trials, toxic exposure and successful Daubert challenges and other evidence-based motions.
