Stacie Scarf concentrates her practice on defending clients in premises liability, product liability and insurance litigation, with a focus on automotive warranty matters.
Stacie began her legal career as a law clerk, assisting attorneys with insurance litigation arising from the 2021 Dixie Fire, which impacted more than 73,000 acres of Lassen Volcanic National Park in northern California. After obtaining her J.D., she began working on insurance defense matters. Her work included legal research, preparing trial exhibits and drafting motions, including dispositive motions and motions in limine. She has handled matters ranging from product liability cases involving property damage to wrongful death claims.
With more than five years of experience as a claims specialist for a major insurer, Stacie brings valuable insight to her practice. In this role, she investigated and evaluated liability claims, the majority of which involved personal and commercial motor vehicles. She played a key role in pre-litigation settlement negotiations and gained legal experience working with defense counsel.
Outside of her practice, music is a significant part of Stacie’s life. She enjoys attending live concerts, discovering new artists and curating playlists for friends and family. She has also completed a half marathon and plans to complete more.
