Stacie Scarf concentrates her practice on defending clients in premises liability, product liability and insurance litigation, with a focus on automotive manufacturer warranty cases.
Stacie began her legal career as a law clerk, assisting attorneys with insurance litigation arising from the 2021 Dixie Fire. The Dixie Fire impacted over 73,000 acres in the Lassen Volcanic National Park in northern California. After obtaining her J.D., she began working directly on insurance broker liability matters. Her work included legal research, creating trial exhibits and drafting documents, including motions to strike and motions in limine.
With over five years as a claims specialist for a major insurer, Stacie brings unique credentials to her practice. In this role, Stacie investigated and evaluated liability claims, the majority of which involved personal use and commercial motor vehicles. She was critical to pre-litigation settlement negotiations and gained courtroom experience working with defense counsel during litigation.
Outside of her work, music is a significant part of Stacie’s life. She enjoys attending live concerts, discovering new artists and curating playlists for her friends and family.
