Jennifer Ruiz represents clients in civil litigation matters involving alleged product defects, breach of warranty claims and insurance matters. She brings a background of litigation support and thrives at translating technical findings into accessible concepts.
Jennifer brings experience drafting dispositive motions, conducting and defending depositions, preparing corporate witnesses and advising clients on settlement strategy. She has also independently represented clients in mediation proceedings.
Prior to joining Bowman and Brooke, Jennifer worked closely with origin-and-cause and engineering experts during pre-suit investigations and throughout litigation involving high exposure fire and explosion losses. She represented manufacturers across a range of consumer products in matters involving alleged product defects. There, she developed her ability to assess the viability of a claim and advised clients as they navigated varying complex fire-related matters. As an active member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, Jennifer continues to expand her understanding of fire investigation principles, complementing her litigation experience in highly technical matters.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys exercising and staying active through activities like horseback riding, yoga and barre. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
