Tamara Rollins is an experienced litigator and has been practicing for over 20 years. She defends manufacturers in complex product liability matters including medical device litigation and toxic torts. She also serves on the discovery teams for a number of clients. Advising on a range of liability claims, Tamara has handled all aspects of litigation from initial pleadings through discovery, mediation, and trial. She has written and argued motions in state and federal court and served as first chair or second chair for dozens of bench and jury trials. Tamara also has experience advising clients in areas such as compliance and pre-suit claim resolution
Tamara is an effective communicator with demonstrated strength in logical reasoning and attention to detail. She develops and implements strategy for litigation in state and federal court from pre-litigation evaluation through the course of discovery and trial, including budget management. She prepares her clients for deposition testimony and trial testimony, including direct and cross- examination. Tamara has also negotiated and resolved claims against her clients through alternative dispute resolution, including binding arbitration and mediation. Previously, Tamara was a civil litigation trial partner with vast experience in insurance coverage, liability defense, and anti-fraud counseling and litigation, including medical provider fraud.
Professional development is important to Tamara and she has mentored numerous younger attorneys early in their careers. In her free time, Tamara enjoys travel, reading, watching college and professional sports and spending time outdoors. In 2021, she was named a master angler by the Minnesota Fishing Museum and Hall of Fame.
