Elizabeth Peters is an attorney who defends companies in general liability matters, premises liability matters and breach of contract disputes.
As someone who’s worked on key investigations involving government agencies such as the DOJ, SEC, FIDC and other regulatory agencies, Liz brings a unique perspective to trial teams. She has worked on civil litigation matters involving alleged securities fraud, breach of contract, deceptive trade practices, trade secrets and other tort related claims in both state and federal court.
A skilled writer, Liz has experience drafting closing statements, jury instructions, post-trial sentencing briefing, motions to dismiss, summary judgment, responses and objections to various discovery requests. She has also written persuasive letters to regulatory authorities and prepared cross and direct examination outlines. Liz has also been published in NYU’s Compliance & Enforcement blog on the topic of artificial intelligence.
