Joseph Mrkonich focuses his practice on product liability litigation matters for manufacturers of medical devices and pharmaceuticals. He has represented clients in all facets of the litigation process, from commencement of suit through trial and post-trial matters.
Joe has taken and defended depositions, co-managed document production in discovery for multi-district litigation, supervised the document review process and managed large- and small-scale discovery. He also prepared witnesses, developed experts and written memoranda on medical and scientific issues for case strategy.
Well versed in legal research and analysis, Joe has drafted successful motions in federal courts, presented and argued cases before administrative law judges and successfully represented clients in mediation. He has also prepared corporate witnesses from marketing, sales and regulatory departments and conducted mock cross-examinations.
Outside of the office, Joe enjoys reading, running and listening to music.
