Michael Foley concentrates his practice on defending automotive manufacturers in product liability claims and consumer disputes. He is an experienced trial attorney, having tried over 20 cases to verdict as first- and second-chair in state and federal courts with a focus on Lemon Law cases.
Michael has a depth of experience spanning product liability, general liability, wrongful death, personal injury, consumer warranty and lemon law litigation. Additionally, he has defended clients against construction defect, mass tort, complex individual consumer, class action and premises liability claims.
Additionally, Michael has jury and bifurcated bench trial experience in consumer fraud cases involving California Consumer Legal Remedies Act, Unfair Business Practices Act and Song-Beverly Act. He handles all aspects of litigation from pre-litigation negotiation, law and motion, trials and appeal.
Outside of his work, Michael enjoys playing water polo, hiking, spending time with his family and being involved with his local church and shelter/community meals programs.
