Lauren Kracht is an associate attorney whose practice focuses on defense of warranty/lemon law claims as well as general products liability and insurance defense. She also has previous experience defending premises liability, worker’s compensation, and veterinary malpractice cases.
She graduated from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2021, where she studied as a part-time evening student while working as a legal assistant and a paralegal at a defense litigation firm. Lauren also earned her Certificate in Trial Advocacy & Litigation from Temple’s Trial Advocacy Program and served as a Teacher’s Assistant in various introductory-level litigation courses.
Lauren participated in multiple externships and clinics throughout law school. Notably, her work as a Certified Legal Intern allowed her to represent clients in Social Security Disability Hearings while building skills drafting wills, advanced directives and financial power of attorney documents to assist her clients in achieving their estate planning goals. She also worked as a Certified Legal Intern in the Philadelphia City Solicitor’s Office Civil Rights and Tort-Claims’ Units, and subsequently earned her “Advanced” Tax Preparation Certification from the Internal Revenue Service’s Volunteer-Income-Tax-Assistance Clinic (VITA). As a VITA participant, Lauren would dedicate her weekends to assisting families within Philadelphia’s low-income communities with navigating the process of filing their tax returns.
After law school, Lauren served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Diana L. Anhalt in the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, where she was responsible for researching and drafting a variety of opinions in cases identified for appeal in accordance with the Pennsylvania Rules of Appellate Procedure.
In her spare time, Lauren enjoys cooking, organizing, exploring new cosmetology techniques, and volunteering at local animal shelters.
