Kirk Carter defends manufacturers of medical devices and pharmaceuticals in product liability litigation. He has experience with all elements of discovery and litigation strategy, including conducting and defending depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses and drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
Prior to joining Bowman and Brooke, Kirk defended clients in civil litigation involving high-exposure premises liability, medical negligence and other professional liability, and other liability matters. Kirk has first-chaired several bench trials and served as co-counsel on three jury trials. He has also handled litigation in federal court and appeals before Florida and Georgia appellate courts.
Outside the office, Kirk enjoys making pasta from scratch, smoking brisket and pork, and traveling in search of new cuisines. He also enjoys music – playing guitar, attending live concerts and collecting records – and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
