Thomas "Tommy" Johnson is an associate attorney representing clients in complex product liability, commercial and asbestos litigation. He has successfully represented his clients during mediation, arbitration, and trial.
A skilled writer, Tommy has drafted and edited trial and appellate memoranda to support all phases of mass tort, personal injury, wrongful death and medical malpractice litigation, including motions for summary judgment, to compel discovery and limine. He has conducted all phases of discovery, including depositions, interrogatories and requests for production of documents. He regularly performs client intake and assists in client navigation through all stages of pre-litigation, litigation, and settlement.
Tommy spent nearly two years as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas A. Gilligan, Jr., drafting and editing memoranda on behalf of the judge in complex civil, probate and specially assigned homicide cases. He also worked on cases with major implications to Minnesotans, including challenges to Governor Walz’s peacetime emergency powers, voting rights, abortion and Minnesota’s tobacco settlement.
Outside of the office, Tommy enjoys golfing, fishing, and hiking. He has visited two dozen national parks. He also enjoys cooking and cheering on the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
