Jessica Garrity defends automotive, recreational vehicle and other heavy equipment manufacturers in product liability and toxic tort cases in both state and federal courts.
In her product liability practice Jessica defends against claims alleging catastrophic injury and wrongful death. Her cases cover a wide range of defect allegations such as rollovers, handling and stability, roof structures, seat belts, steering systems, fire origin and brake systems.
She has vast experience developing all aspects of case strategy, including discovery, document analysis and factual investigations. Jessica has conducted numerous critical fact-witness depositions in catastrophic injury cases as well as complex motion practice, including dispositive motions. She also has extensive experience analyzing and evaluating medical records and damages and deposing physicians and other medical professionals.
Jessica has tried more than 35 jury trials to verdict in Florida and Wisconsin, including more than 25 as first chair. She has handled numerous complex evidentiary hearings, including motions to suppress or exclude evidence and expert witnesses.
When she is not hard at work, Jessica is traveling, spending time with her two children and reading a good book – preferably a mystery with plenty of twists and turns.
