Paul Holzmann focuses his practice on product liability and commercial litigation matters. He represents manufacturers, distributors, service contract providers and other corporate clients in disputes involving alleged product defects, breach of warranty claims, contract issues and broader commercial matters.
Paul has experience taking plaintiff depositions, appearing in court and drafting a wide range of litigation documents, including pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery requests and responses, discovery motions, motions to continue trial and ex parte applications. He also prepares case status reports and strategic client-facing analyses related to liability exposure, contract practices and risk reduction.
Prior to joining Bowman and Brooke, Paul completed a Judicial Externship for the Honorable Scott C. Clarkson in Santa Ana, California. During which, he cultivated his legal writing acumen by drafting tentative rulings and orders. Specifically, Paul was given the opportunity to draft a complete proposed opinion following a bench trial. He also spent time conducting legal research on behalf of the court, as well as reviewing cases and drafting internal documents.
Outside of the office Paul is an avid car, motorcycle and motorsport enthusiast who enjoys exploring California.
