Scott W. Hancox


Scott Hancox advises major manufacturers in complex product liability litigation matters. He brings a passion for public speaking and advocacy to his legal work. A skilled writer, Scott has drafted reservation of rights letters, arguments with general counsel, pleadings, confidentiality agreements, and settlement agreements.  

Scott regularly researches complex legal business litigation issues, responds to discovery, takes depositions, and has experience in motions practice in both state and federal courts. He has also helped with trial preparation for a case resulting in a $73 million verdict. Additionally, Scott prepares appropriate memoranda for filing, assists with corporate compliance management, and provides translations for business law cases. He has worked extensively with complex insurance coverage litigation as well as contract disputes and tort actions.

In his free time, Scott enjoys listening to classic rock, especially Led Zeppelin, and all varieties of modern music.
