Michael Everett is dedicated to defending clients in complex commercial litigation matters, mass tort claims and discovery-related motions and appeals.
Michael is skilled in conducting witness interviews, analyzing and summarizing key policy and legislative decisions as result of his experience across judicial and governmental contexts. He is also highly experienced in legal research and writing. His knowledge in complex matters including appeals, commercial disputes, contracts and settlements provides value to trial teams and clients.
He has a distinguished background in judicial and legislative service. Notably, Michael has served as judicial clerk for the Honorable Patrick Diamond in the Ramsey County District Court in addition to his background as a pro bono law clerk. He also has previous experience as a judicial extern for the Honorable Magistrate John F. Docherty in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. Lastly, Michael worked as a law clerk to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee where he reported directly to Senator Amy Klobuchar.
Michael earned his law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. While there, he was on the Mitchell Hamline Law Review and a member of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys city and landscape photography.
