Barry Emdadi concentrates his practice on defending medical device and commercial manufacturers. He has additional litigation experience in medical liability, tort and other civil matters.
Well-versed in courtroom proceedings, Barry has represented clients in district, circuit and federal courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia. His work includes preparing corporate and fact witnesses and defending them in depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, developing deposition strategies and participating in mediations. He has also represented corporations in status hearings and pretrial conferences.
Prior to joining Bowman and Brooke, Barry handled premises liability, wrongful death and medical malpractice matters. While he has primarily represented defendants, he has also represented plaintiffs, giving him a broad perspective on litigation strategy. Barry values a collaborative approach and applies meticulous attention to detail in every case.
Outside the office, he enjoys exploring the cities and culture of his home state of Maryland.
