Barry Emdadi concentrates his practice on defending medical device and commercial manufacturers. Well-versed in courtroom proceedings, Barry has represented clients in district, circuit and federal courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
His work includes preparing corporate and fact witnesses and defending them in depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, developing deposition strategies and participating in mediations. He has also represented corporations in status hearings and pretrial conferences. He is skilled at negotiating settlements with the best interest of his clients in mind.
Prior to joining Bowman and Brooke, Barry handled premises liability, wrongful death and medical malpractice matters. His strong experience in premises liability litigation give him further insight into complex matters. While he has primarily represented defendants, he has also represented plaintiffs, giving him a broad perspective on litigation strategy.
Outside the office, Barry enjoys supporting his team, the Commanders, and exploring the breweries and wineries of Maryland. He’s always seeking to broaden his horizons, traveling the country seeking out new foods and cultures.
