Laura DeMarco is an attorney focusing her practice on product liability litigation matters for major manufacturers. As a member of the Discovery team, Laura works on matters involving warranty issues, consumer disputes and other complex litigation like class actions.
A strong writer, Laura has experience drafting answers, appellate briefs, affirmative defenses, initial disclosures, motions for summary disposition and facilitation summaries. She is an integral part of a national discovery team for a major automotive manufacturer, regularly handling discovery requests, responses and motions. Laura has also successfully briefed and completed oral arguments for multiple motions for summary disposition.
During law school, Laura won the Canadian National Negotiation Competition where she completed against top performing students from every law school in Canada. She then went on to represent Canada in the International Negotiation Competition where she competed against law students from nations across the world.
Outside of the office, Laura is a skilled golfer having spent time on the EPSON/LPGA circuit. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, hiking, yoga, kayaking and traveling.
