Jared Colthurst is an associate attorney concentrating on automotive product liability and premises liability matters. He began his legal career in earnest as a summer associate with Bowman and Brooke. Well versed in different phases of litigation, including managing discovery, Jared has experience assisting in deposition preparation, drafting evidentiary motions and analyzing pre-suit demands. He also has drafted motions for summary deposition that have led to optimal results for clients. 

He honed his legal acumen while completing his dual J.D. at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and Detroit Mercy Law, where he was active in their Criminal Trial Clinic. In which, he gained important experience advocating for clients and navigating the courtroom. He enjoys diving into sophisticated litigation and tackling complex technical matters. Prior to law school, Jared worked at a major motor vehicle manufacturer, gaining irreplaceable knowledge of the intricacies of automotive products. 

Outside of the office, Jared is a bodybuilder who embraces a healthy lifestyle. He can be found watching sports and sharing his love for fitness with his family and friends.
