Samuel Boyd brings a diverse foundation of skills to his practice, defending clients in toxic tort, complex product liability and business tort matters.
He gained valuable litigation experience as a summer associate at Bowman and Brooke, working on tort, lemon law and crashworthiness claims. He has conducted legal research and drafted briefings and memos, with a focus on synthesizing complex findings.
While completing his J.D., Samuel was published in the South Carolina Law Review. He was active on the Mock Trial Team, served on the Law Review editorial staff and held leadership roles in academics and extracurriculars. He participated in the highly prestigious CyberAuto Challenge, testing the cybersecurity capabilities of major auto manufacturers.
Before law school, Samuel graduated summa cum laude with dual degrees in applied computer science with a concentration in cybersecurity and in political science. His technical background provides additional insight into complex litigation, particularly matters involving technology and data.
Outside of the office, Samuel enjoys sharpening his mind playing chess and honing his extensive coding and computer skills. He can also be found enjoying the culture and restaurants of South Carolina with his wife, Morgan.
