Anna Barton defends clients against warranty claims, mass tort and medical device litigation.
Before joining Bowman and Brooke, Anna served as the sole law clerk in the Minnesota Fourth Judicial District for her judicial officer, where she gained extensive courtroom exposure and developed a strong foundation in legal analysis. In that role, she analyzed complex matters before the court, conducted comprehensive legal research and drafted orders and memoranda addressing a wide range of legal issues.
During her time in the Fourth District, Anna clerked hundreds of hearings and trials, gaining valuable experience behind the bench. She managed a docket largely composed of probate and mental health cases as well as felony jury trials. The experience required careful factual analysis and efficient work in a fast-paced court environment.
Anna also has a longstanding commitment to advocacy through her work with the Community Justice Project and the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota, where she researched and supported initiatives to promote diversity and access to community resources.
In her free time, Anna likes to spend her time reading, hanging out with friends and trying new restaurants. When Minnesota weather allows, she can often be found at the beach.
