Victor Avila is a driven associate who defends motor vehicle manufacturers in product liability litigation matters.
He keeps his client’s best interest in mind when assessing exposure, damages and ultimately creating a case strategy. Victor manages matters from initial pleadings and discovery through trial. He has experience performing legal research, organizing evidence, preparing exhibits and drafting dispositive motions, motions to compel and comprehensive discovery responses. Additionally, Victor is looked to by trial teams for his work in preparing witnesses for depositions by conducting mock examinations and creating outlines.
Victor brings a diverse legal background to his practice. Prior to law school, he began his legal career by working with firm where he managed a case load of over 100+ clients. During law school, he worked for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office where he participated in preliminary hearings, assisted with witness readiness, conducted mock examinations, collaborated on legal memoranda and other pre-trial matters.
Outside of work, Victor is heavily involved in his community and demonstrates his commitment to immigration work by volunteering with For Victims of Crime in the Los Angeles area.
