Paul Alarcón is an experienced product liability and appellate litigator. For more than 10 years, he has represented businesses in product liability, personal injury, class action, and mass tort cases and appeals in state and federal courts throughout the United States and in arbitration.
Paul has co-chaired high-exposure trials on behalf of product manufacturers. He has authored briefs for the U.S. Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit, the California Supreme Court, the California Court of Appeal, and numerous U.S. district courts and California superior courts.
Paul has defended manufacturers of a variety of products, including automobiles, tractor trailers, heavy machinery, energy equipment, construction materials, sports safety equipment, as well as medical devices and prescription drugs.
Paul is actively involved in several bar associations and other legal organizations focused on product liability, appellate law, and legal professionalism, including the Product Liability Advisory Council’s Case Selection Committee and the American Bar Association’s Appellate Law Practice Committee.
In his free time, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and six children, reading fiction, and serving on the board of Casa Teresa, an organization addressing the needs of pregnant women in crisis.
