He has represented multinational clients in multiple jurisdictions, managing all aspects of a case, from the initial pleading phases through fact and expert discovery to comprehensive dispositive briefing and resolution to arbitration or trial. Dan is passionate about the legal implications of emerging technologies and has experience defending claims involving advanced driver assistance systems.
Dan is a patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and has counseled clients regarding intellectual property strategies, litigated patent and licensing disputes and prosecuted patents. He has also worked as a court-appointed mediator.
Before entering the legal profession, Dan worked with the University of Chicago and NASA developing instrumentation that was used on an airborne observatory and proposals for equipment to be incorporated on the James Webb Space Telescope.
