Steve Reitenour has a diverse practice that includes intellectual property litigation, complex commercial litigation and appeals. His intellectual property practice, which includes patent, trademark, trade dress, and copyright litigation, has allowed him to build relationships and make contacts in many states and several countries around the world.
Steve has spent a considerable amount of his career representing technology and manufacturing companies in complex intellectual property and commercial litigation claims throughout the country. He has defended automobile, heavy machinery and truck manufacturers against numerous types of claims. Many of the cases have involved large document productions against aggressive, well-financed counsel.
In addition to his practice, Steve was a Conciliation Court judge for the Fourth Judicial District Court, State of Minnesota. He was also an adjunct professor, teaching legal writing at William Mitchell College of Law (now Mitchell Hamline School of Law). Steve is a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114 of the General Rules of Practice and is listed on the Facilitative Hybrid and Adjudicative / Evaluative Minnesota Statewide ADR-Rule 114 Neutrals Rosters.
Steve enjoys traveling, as he has been to all 50 states and 17 foreign countries and counting.
