Geetha Selvam defends medical device, automotive, and asbestos clients in product liability and commercial litigation disputes. As a licensed attorney in Michigan, and currently undergoing the licensing process in Ontario, she often works on cross-border litigation. 

Geetha is currently helping defend a major energy company in a potential class action lawsuit. She is also assisting a Florida-based medical device manufacturer of knee and hip replacements in complex litigation and is working as discovery counsel to help defend a major automotive manufacturer. She has drafted complex pleadings and motions – ranging from discovery to dispositive motions – and managed discovery and document review and production. Having studied biomedical sciences as an undergraduate, Geetha brings technical savvy to her analysis of complex legal issues.

While in law school, Geetha clerked for the Honorable Judge Jonathan Tukel of the Michigan Court of Appeals She also participated in an Immigration Clinic, assisting victims of crime in obtaining legal status in the US.

Outside the office, Geetha enjoys dancing bachata and cooking – especially Asian fusion cuisine. She has a black belt in karate and loves to travel. Kenya is her favorite destination so far.
