Samantha Wilder is an associate who focuses her defense practice on product liability, general liability, and class action litigation. With previous experience in public and private sectors, she brings an acute understanding of process efficiency, document drafting, and case preparation to help her clients navigate difficult legal environments.
Samantha previously oversaw regulatory compliance for a large volume of cases within the nation’s top federal law enforcement agency, as well as represented the agency to advance administrative and statutory frameworks in front of senior executive officials and fellow attorneys at high-level briefings throughout the Washington, D.C. region. In this capacity, she gained significant knowledge by identifying the laws, policies, and regulations which impeded the departmental goals. Samantha honed her extensive research and writing skills by drafting court documents and assisting with witness and trial preparation while clerking at the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Before returning to law school and switching to the public sector, Samantha's thorough analytical skills and ability to identify policy hurdles made her an effective consultant for one of the country’s largest defense contractors and regional researcher for the world's largest commercial real estate services firm. Samantha obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Policy Studies and International Relations from Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs. Additionally, she interned with an international firm in Hong Kong to study corporate compliance and business law. These experiences have provided Samantha with a robust skill set which she applies to provide comprehensive legal solutions that always emphasize her client’s best interests throughout all phases of litigation.
Away from her practice, Samantha enjoys traveling, running with her German Shorthaired Pointer, and exploring Virginia’s many wineries.
