Tori Levine is an experienced trial lawyer who defends clients in complex disputes including product liability, premises liability, toxic tort, construction defect and commercial litigation. She also has deep experience creating and implementing legal and business risk management programs for manufacturers and other businesses.
Tori defends manufacturers, suppliers and distributors of a variety of products and raw materials, achieving successes at trial on a national level. She has defended consumer goods, drugs and medical devices – including spinal fusion, cold therapy, biologic and diet products regulated (or under proposed regulation) by the FDA. She also represents clients in the vaping, e-cigarette and cannabis industries nationally on a variety of business and legal matters including claims involving lithium-ion batteries, e-liquids and vaping devices.
Tori has defended clients in cases involving asbestos, mold, radiation, pesticides and other chemicals and substances. She has served as national and regional coordinating counsel for Fortune 100 clients and has extensive experience in developing, presenting and cross-examining scientific experts in toxic tort cases. Tori has created and implemented medical and scientific defenses used nationally that include selecting and preparing scientific and medical experts in pattern litigation – resulting in lower client defense and indemnity costs with consistent national defense and early evaluation strategies.
Tori has defended clients in trials and appeals of professional liability claims, notably errors and omissions claims. She has represented insurance brokers and agents as well as other types of insurance professionals such as MGAs, TPAs, program administrators, and loss control and risk management consultants. She has worked with clients in addressing a wide variety of commercial disputes including those involving noncompetition agreements, patent infringement, theft of trade secrets, commercial contracts, deceptive trade practices, commercial equipment sales, premises liability and commercial property damage among other things.
