Tammy Bokmuller Bokmuller defends corporations in warranty litigation, multi-district product liability litigation, state court coordinated proceedings and class action litigation. Collaborating closely with clients and their in-house counsel, and serving as national coordinating counsel, she develops innovative and efficient strategies for resolution and manages mass actions throughout the United States pending in both state and federal courts.
Tammy is currently defending automotive manufacturers in warranty litigation in California. Her role includes supervision and management of cases over multiple offices. She has extensive experience developing and implementing procedures to coordinate multiple law firms defending global automotive manufacturers.
In the arena of product liability litigation, Tammy has defended manufacturers and distributors of medical devices, pharmaceuticals and other products. She has also defended product manufacturers and distributors against environmental and toxic tort claims. Among the products she has defended are Zyloprim/allopurinol, quinine sulfate, Brethine/terbutaline, hormone replacement therapy, Reglan/metoclopramide, Darvon/Darvocet/propoxyphene, Cytotec/misoprostol, pain pumps, cold therapy devices, power morcellators, IVC filters, spinal implants, thermal wands, wheelchairs, braces, treadmills, ellipticals, Dursban and products containing benzene.
Tammy also has extensive experience advising corporate employers in employment disputes including class actions, wage and hour disputes, Private Attorney General Act claims, unemployment claims, workers compensation trials, as well as wrongful termination, retaliation and discrimination claims.
In her spare time, Tammy enjoys boating and sporting events with her family. She is an active supporter of the UCLA Alumni Association and Bruin athletics.
