Co-Managing Partner

Suzanne Swaner is an automotive product liability litigator and trial lawyer for Fortune 50 domestic and international clients. She defends and tries to verdict catastrophic injury and death cases in some of the most challenging jurisdictions across Texas, and beyond.

With two decades of experience behind her, Suzanne is adept at handling pattern litigation. Her background includes hands-on defense of vehicle components and technologies such as seats, throttle control systems, handling and stability, brakes, crash avoidance, airbags, seatbelts, roof, glazing, and other crashworthiness-related claims. Additionally, she has defended against the design and manufacture of off-road vehicles. Suzanne uses this solid foundation to quickly and effectively evaluate repeat claims, always taking into account the unique characteristics of each client, case, and jurisdiction.

Each time playing an active role at trial, Suzanne is known for mounting an aggressive defense to set precedent and deter future lawsuits. She is proficient at defending complex mass torts and representing clients in statewide multidistrict litigation. Suzanne also plays an integral role in nationwide coordinated defense efforts on behalf of clients involved in challenging complex litigation.

Suzanne’s experience is both distinguished and varied. Outside of the automotive arena, she defends clients in catastrophic injury and death cases arising from accidents involving the trucking industry, highway safety products such as guardrails, oil and gas drilling, and marine products, as well as commercial matters.
