Scott Stockdale is a knowledgeable trial attorney with years of experience in the defense of claims including product liability, negligence, business litigation and premises liability. He has defended the design, manufacture and maintenance of numerous products including automobiles, trucks, personal watercraft, boats, cranes, elevators, escalators, electrical equipment, commercial laundry equipment, agricultural and food processing equipment, injection molding equipment and toxic chemicals.
Scott has tried cases involving diverse products such as elevators and escalators, washing machines, personal watercraft, automobiles and fire trucks. He also acts as national discovery counsel for a Japanese manufacturer of automobiles and sport utility vehicles. In addition, he has represented clients in commercial litigation involving contract disputes and fraud claims. He has also defended allegations with respect to toxic tort liability, automobile warranty and pattern litigation involving asbestos.
Scott is an experienced speaker and was a featured speaker at the Schindler Elevator Corporation Counsel Conference in February 2003. His speech was entitled, Defending the Falling Elevator Case.
