Ian Schuler is an emerging trial lawyer with experience representing corporate clients in product liability, general liability, construction, and complex litigation matters involving multi-million-dollar product defect and casualty claims. Whether advising clients on case strategy, conducting arbitration or defending through trial, Ian works closely with his clients to achieve the best results possible.
Ian defends a range of clients within the automotive, industrial, construction, and medical industries. He has represented multiple corporate clients with successful results at trial, including automotive manufacturers and global cargo couriers. He has defended claims of wrongful death, product defect, negligence, fraud, and breach of warranty, among others. Additionally, Ian has appellate experience having interned with the California Department of Justice Office of the Attorney General. His accomplishments earned him the 2014 "Top Young Attorney" award from the San Diego Daily Transcript and the “Best of the Bar” award in 2016 from the San Diego Business Journal.
In addition to his trial practice, Ian spent six years instructing second and third year law students in appellate advocacy as an adjunct professor with the University of San Diego School of Law where he remains active as a volunteer. In his spare time, Ian enjoys hiking and playing guitar.
