Lauren Russ assists life sciences, automotive and consumer clients in product liability and warranty cases.
Lauren is a member of the product liability litigation defense team in the nation’s largest MDL in history, where she is responsible for legal research, analysis of case files, drafting motions and legal memoranda, and assisting with depositions. Lauren is also helping to defend another mass tort for a Florida-based medical device manufacturer of knee and hip replacements.
As an advocate for those in need, Lauren’s pro bono work has included assisting international migrants and working with victims of domestic violence. While in law school, she served as student director of the Immigration and Human Rights Clinic and led a team of students working on asylum and family reunification cases. In 2020, she traveled to Tijuana, Mexico, to assist migrants seeking asylum in the United States. Recently, Lauren began working with a local domestic violence clinic.
Outside the office, Lauren enjoys biking, playing on Bowman and Brooke’s softball team, and swimming – preferably outdoors, when Minnesota weather allows. She also enjoys cooking while listening to Taylor Swift and recently devised the consummate black bean burger.
