Monica Hernandez defends automotive manufacturers and distributors in litigation arising from warranty and product liability claims. Litigating automobile warranty issues, Monica has successfully tried cases before juries in both state and federal court.
In the course of Monica’s practice, she works closely with corporate clients and in-house counsel to develop and implement litigation and trial strategies. Monica handles all aspects of litigation through post-trial, including depositions, law and motion, mediations and fee motion oppositions.
Prior to joining Bowman and Brooke, Monica represented automotive distributors in matters arising under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and California’s Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. She has also represented employers and insurance carriers in matters arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Alaska Workers’ Compensation Act and California Workers’ Compensation Act.
In her spare time, Monica enjoys riding her motorcycle, skateboarding, hiking with her dog and powerlifting. Combining deadlift, squat and bench press, she can lift more than 500 pounds.
