Lauren Miller concentrates her associate practice on the defense of product liability litigation involving claims of personal injury, negligence, product defect and premises liability. She is entrusted with handling all aspects of litigation leading up to trial for her clients in the automotive industry.
Lauren previously practiced at an insurance defense firm where she gained valuable experience in personal injury, wrongful death and property damage cases dealing with construction site accidents, fires and construction defects. Among her notable assignments, she worked on motions in limine for a personal injury case involving a flame sanitizer and discovery in a property damage case involving a fire in a large apartment building in San Francisco. She also handled the processing of a settlement for a of a wrongful death matter following a fire at a small adult home care facility.
For the past several years, Lauren has built a strong foundation in pre-trial issues. She has deposed percipient and expert witnesses, prepared and responded to written discovery, and argued various motions including motions to compel and demurrers. She interacts with clients, experts and other key personnel to develop strategies for favorable resolution.
Lauren graduated in the top 5% of her class from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law where she achieved the honor of Order of the Coif. Apart from her practice, Lauren enjoys running, playing soccer and supporting her local Bay Area sports teams.
