Lauren Miller concentrates her practice on the defense of product liability litigation involving claims of personal injury, negligence, and product defect. She is entrusted with handling all aspects of litigation leading up to trial for her clients in the automotive industry.
Lauren’s product liability practice involves the defense of major motor vehicle manufacturers against allegations such as rollovers, seatbelt and seatbelt buckles, airbag non-deployment, post-collision fuel fed fires, and unintended acceleration. Additionally, she has represented a highway products manufacturer and works on toxic exposure matters.
For the past several years, Lauren has built a strong foundation in pre-trial issues to support the overall defense strategy. She has deposed percipient and expert witnesses, prepared and responded to written discovery, and argued various motions including motions to compel and demurrers. She interacts with clients, experts and other key personnel to develop strategies for favorable resolution.
Lauren graduated in the top 5% of her class from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law where she achieved the honor of Order of the Coif. Apart from her practice, Lauren enjoys running, playing soccer and supporting her local Bay Area sports teams.
