Vernon Marsh concentrates his practice on the defense of automotive manufacturers in product liability litigation. Vernon brings a passion for defending the design and reputation of his clients' products to every phase of litigation, from the early stages of a claim to trial.

Vernon has developed a strong background in automotive product liability litigation and discovery matters. As part of the national discovery counsel for a well-known motor vehicle manufacturer, Vernon has worked on claims involving roof strength as well as vehicle handling and stability. He has prepared corporate witnesses for deposition and performed extensive document collection, processing and production. Vernon particularly enjoys the process of developing discovery strategies for each case he is assigned.

His continued focus on defending the automotive industry extends to the courtroom where Vernon has had the opportunity to participate as an active trial team member.  His roles at trial included examination of defense experts and first responders.  He has also deposed Plaintiffs, Plaintiffs’ experts, and first responders, and defended defense experts in preparation for trial.

In addition to his practice, Vernon is passionate about promoting diversity in the legal profession and is active in the firm's Diversity Committee and in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.

Outside of work, Vernon is a devoted fan of the Xavier Musketeers and Michigan Wolverines.  He also enjoys playing basketball and traveling.
