Lindsey Adams-Hess focuses her practice on the defense of product liability claims. She has extensive experience managing multiple aspects of civil litigation, including fact and expert discovery and development, as well as law and motion practices in both state and federal courts.
Lindsey served on the team defending a major automotive company in high-profile alleged unintended acceleration litigation. She has handled numerous product liability matters involving catastrophic personal injury and has worked extensively with both liability and damages experts in the course of discovery and trial of these matters. She also has an acute understanding of emerging technology and its impact on the future of automotive litigation.
In addition to her automotive work, Lindsey has handled personal injury claims involving numerous types of implantable medical devices and other medical equipment as well as claims involving the marketing of nutraceuticals.
Lindsey earned her J.D. from the University of California, Davis. While in law school, Lindsey clerked for the Santa Clara County Public Defender's Office, the Yolo County District Attorney's Office and Civil Division of the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of California.
Lindsey is a member of the Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom and previously served as chair on the LGBT Committee for the Santa Clara County Bar Association. She is also active on the firm's Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
