Lauren Ballback focuses her defense practice on product liability and general liability litigation. She worked previously as a legal fellow with the Commonwealth’s Attorney in Alexandria, Virginia, where she handled criminal matters and gained significant research and writing experience. She also worked as an Honors Intern with the Federal Bureau of Investigation where she conducted investigative and legal research as part of the White Collar, Complex Financial Crimes squad. At the FBI, she worked with agents and the U.S. Attorney’s Office on several felony trials, including witness preparation, discovery and preparation of memoranda for motion practice and trial.
Additionally, Lauren worked for two years as a paralegal in Charlottesville, conducting research and preparing financial and legal documents for real estate transactions, reviewing contracts and coordinating real estate closings.
In 2011, Lauren served as a Research Intern at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism in Herzliya, Israel.
When her time permits, Lauren enjoys trail running with her dog Hamilton, paddle boarding and cooking with her friends and family.
